The Con Edison Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Energy Efficiency Program is still accepting complete project applications for the rest of 2015, and we anticipate that is a similar version of the program will continue in 2016; stay tuned for details from Con Edison regarding the 2016 program.
For C&I applications submitted from now through 12/31/15, please note the following changes to the administrative process:
IOL Deadline: Upon receiving an Initial Offer Letter (IOL) from Con Edison/Lockheed Martin, applicants have 30 days to respond from the letter’s date. If you do not respond within 30 days, the offer will automatically terminate, the project will be discontinued and you will have to re-apply in 2016 (abiding by any new/different program rules that may exist at that time).
Installation and Paperwork Deadline: Applicants will need to complete the physical installation of their C&I projects no later than October 1, 2016, and all related paperwork and inspections must be completed by 12/31/16, including the issuance of the incentive check.
C&I Program Applications Submitted after December 31, 2015: Applications received after 12/31/15 will be reviewed under the terms and conditions of the new C&I Program that will be in effect as of January 1, 2016. Details regarding program requirements, incentives and measures to be offered will be provided in the near future.
