AT&T Partners with Citywide Chambers of Commerce to Support Cell Phones for Soldiers drive for the Holidays

AT&T Redoubles Longstanding Commitment in NYC to Keeping Service Members Worldwide Connected to Loved Ones

(November 21, 2013) New York, NY – Just in time for the holidays, our service members overseas will be able to better stay in touch with their loved ones, thanks to a new partnership between AT&T and the five New York City Chambers of Commerce. Between now and December 13, New Yorkers can place their old devices in specially marked bins at all five Chambers across the city. AT&T has a long-standing mission of connecting members of our nation’s military with their loved ones back home. With the support of AT&T and cell phone donations by its customers, Cell Phones for Soldiers has generated more than $3 million to help connect military members to their families back home.
