MCC Member Mary Pisarkiewicz Appointed Chair of the New York City Advisory Board of Virtual Enterprises International

Ms. Pisarkiewicz succeeds Melanie Mortimer of SIFMA Foundation after serving five years. Mary Pisarkiewicz, founder and chief creative officer of design agency PM+CO., has been appointed as the new chair of Virtual Enterprises International’s (VEI) New York Advisory Board after serving as a member of the board for five years.

Ms. Pisarkiewicz will lead a Board comprised of leading educators, business leaders, foundation heads and NYC officials, in advising and supporting VEI’s workplace-ready program in 45 NYC high schools.

Ms. Pisarkiewicz is a brand design and marketing communications professional with more than 30 years industry experience. She has been responsible for successful branding and bottom line enhancement for clients in the food, entertainment, finance and healthcare industries, as well as for education and non-profit organizations. We are delighted that she has chosen to bring her skills to the Board and the program.

“As a long-time member of the VE advisory Board, I have seen the dedication, creative vision and total commitment to improving the hopes of dreams of our students by helping prepare them for college and career,” said Ms. Pisarkiewicz. “It is my hope that together with the Board and the leadership of VEI, we can expand the program to many more high schools, providing students with hands-on learning about business and entrepreneurship and engage more corporate partners as supporters and mentors.”
