MCC Green Business Committee: Upcoming Events


We are so excited for cleantech opportunities we could not wait until September! Please read below for our next MCC Green Business Committee events.

For those of you interested in global cleantech opportunities, this is the event for you! Please read the description of the event below and hope you will join us. This event is free for MCC members and $15 for non-members. If you have interest in participating in the delegation to India in November and would like to be considered to meet with Mr. Nayar later in the day please let me know.

August 27th: 8:30-10:45AM: Opportunities in India’s Clean Tech Sector: Breakfast with Narinder Nayar, Chairman of Mumbai First

Are you interested in exploring the growing clean technology market in India, but unsure of where to start? Did you know the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce recently signed an MOU with Mumbai First, in an effort to help its members grow via exports? Are you aware of the initiatives taking place between the U.S. Department of Commerce and U.S. Department of Energy to promote U.S. businesses do business in this important market? If not, please join us for a networking breakfast opportunity with the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Department of Energy’s Brookhaven National Laboratory and Chairman Narinder Nayar of Mumbai First.

With the 5th largest energy generation capacity in the world, India is a prime market for U.S. companies interested in exporting their technology or service. During this breakfast, you will have an opportunity to network and learn about the vast opportunities in the Indian Clean Technology Market. A full draft agenda is as follows:
